Full Day Tour

Coast & Wadi Shab

Duration of Tour: 8 - 9 hours

Your guide will pick you up at 8h30 AM and take you on an incredible journey.
Start the tour by going straight to Wadi Shab which means a “wadi between the cliffs” and enjoy a walk through the wadi, as well as a refreshing swim in those pools. If you feel brave enough, go inside the cave accessible only by swimming.

Start the tour by going straight to Wadi Shab which means a “wadi between the cliffs” and enjoy a walk through the wadi, as well as a refreshing swim in those pools. If you feel brave enough, go inside the cave accessible only by swimming.

Continue your journey to Wadi Tiwi, with its plantations and its blue-green pools. Your next stop will be at Fins or more commonly called White Beach for a perfect post card picture.

Along the coast line, your last stop will be at Bimah Sinkhole, a huge hole formed by erosion. Here you can take another refreshing swim in the cool clear green waters before heading back to Muscat.

Don’t forget your swimsuit and towel.

Nizwa – Jabal Shams

Duration of Tour: 9 -10 hours

The guide will pick you up at 8h30 AM at your hotel and begin your tour by going through the Hajar Mountains. This tour provides a good insight on Omani history and glorious heritage.

We depart to Nizwa, the old capital of Oman. We pay a visit to the famous Nizwa Fortress. Today, the fort is a museum that showcases the history of the fort and surrounding area. Walking through the fortress you get to see amazing views of the ancient town and the nearby mountains.

This impressive fortress was a base used in the military to hold off the hardest attacks and seiges. Next to the fortress is the large Nizwa Souq, a local marketplace that offers a variety of goods including jewllery, pottery, fish, and meats. The list goes on! After, we take off to Al Hamra to visit the village where we get to experience how the locals create a lifestyle in the older times.

We then drive to the Jebel Shams Mountain. Next we will take you on a small tour in a small museum in the small ancient village of AL Hamra. The locals will show you the traditional Omani lifestyle in the village among other routines. From the village we drive up to the Grand Canyon of Oman.

The canyon itself is enough to lose yourself in wonder. Walking around, there is so much to see and be amazed by. Once late afternoon arrives, we depart back to Muscat.

Nizwa – Jebel Akhdar

Duration of Tour: 9 -10 hours

Jebel Akhdar in Arabic means “Green Mountain” but it is also known as the Sayq Plateau. Your guide will take you for an incredible journey. Make your way to the pretty village of Birkat Al Mauz, located at the foot of Jebel Akhdar. Wonder in the old streets of abandoned houses made of mud and straw.

Your guide will take you to the top of Jebel Akhdar, also famous for its rose, fruit and nut plantations, there are many small villages which farm some of the best in Oman. Depending on the season you can visit the rose water factory, rose water from Jebel Akhdar is very famous in Oman.

From a view point, see the villages on the other side that cling vertiginously to the rock walls, as well as the terraced rose plantations.

If you wish you can do the trek W18b from Al Aqur village, your guide will meet you at the next village. Explore the hanging gardens before heading to your last stop, Wadi Bani Habib. A charming little abandoned village perched on a wadi, there is a trek to reach the village but you can also see it from the road. This tour is a delightful way to escape the heat because of the cooler mountain air.

Preciously restored, each Fort has its own story. They were first built for military defense but were also used for social and community gatherings. Before reaching Nizwa, you will stop to see the old village of Birkat Al Mawz, walking through the plantation and small streets with old crumbling houses.

You will then continue to Nizwa, who was once the capital of Oman, go through the traditional and craft Souk where you can buy some souvenirs before visiting the Fort of Nizwa with its large circular tower and imagine life inside the Fort in the 17th Century. The breathtaking view from the tower will show you how big the plantation is.

Wahiba Sands & Wadi Bani Khalid

Duration of Tour: 9 -10 hours

A guide will come and pick you up and go directly to Wahiba sands to meet a Bedouin family, their hospitality will seduce you, share coffee and dates with them even some words if you had time during the drive to learn some Arabic words.

If you want, you can do some dune bashing which consists in going up and down the dunes like a roller coaster with your 4x4, for some thrilling fun.

Leave the golden sand dunes behind and continue to Wadi Bani Khalid, one of the largest and most picturesque wadis in Oman where water flows all year round.

Nestled deep into the mountains, it is a true oasis. You can cool down in the green pools or walk up the wadi and see more pools with waterfalls. Head back to Muscat.

Nizwa - Bahla - Jabrin

Duration of Tour: 9 -10 hours

Continue your journey to Bahla, a charming little town surrounded by an old 12 km long wall; visit the place where they make pottery and also the old fort of Bahla, one of the oldest in Oman (under renovation, visit is from the outside only). Continue to Jabrin, for a visit of the Fort which was once the home of the Imam and was built to be a Palace at first, before being used for military purposes.

The tomb of the Imam is still located in the Fort. The Jabrin Fort is also believed to be one of the first schools in Oman. Head back to Muscat.

Barka—Nakhal—Wadi Mistal

Duration of Tour: 8 - 9 hours

This full-day tour begins with a Muscat hotel pickup. Travel along the Batinah coastline, known for its sandy beaches and ancient fort towns. Visit Barka and the popular Barka Fish Souq, then drive to Nakhl Fort, a rocky, 200-meter-high mountain peak which many have described as the most prominent attraction in town. .

The next stop is the Ath Thaurwah hot springs, a collection of hot springs that gush forth year round and one of the most popular tourist sites in Al Batinah South Governorate. Enjoy lunch here, then continue to Wakan, a mountain farming village in Wadi Mistal. This region features pomegranate, apricot, grape, almond, and peach orchards, plus a dazzling display of pink and white blossoms in the springtime.

    لوسمحتم اردت استفسر عن رحلة ليوم واحد في رمال ال وهيبة اعتقد حيث ممكن بعض الاشخاص يسوقوا سياراتهم فالرمال, اريد اجرب هذا الشي معي بيكون شخصين ايضا, وممكن نحن نيجي الى صور.
    وايضا لو في منجعات قريبة من البحر ولديها اكتفتيز ايضا لو ممكن تقترحلي اسمائها ولمدة ليلتين ايضا.
