Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque is closed on Fridays. Modest clothing must be worn. Men must wear long sleeved shirts and long trousers. Ladies must be fully covered (including head, arms, shoulders, knees and ankles). Abayas can be rented in the reception area at entrance of the mosque. The mosque is closed to visitors in the afternoons. Should you book an afternoon tour, this attraction will be a photo-stop from the exterior only.
