Day1: Jewel of the Arabian Sea
Arrival & Muscat City Tour
When you arrive, a Guide will receive you at Muscat International Airport. He will take you to visit the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, Muttrah Fish Market, Royal Opera House, Bait Al Zubair Museum, old city of Muscat and Muttrah Souq. At the end of the day, you will return to your hotel for an Overnight.

Day2: Along the Coast
Muscat- Wadi Tiwi- Sur – Ras Al Jinz
On the second day, you will venture down the east coast. On the way, you will have the chance to hike and swim in Bimmah Sinkhole and Wadi Tiwi. Make sure to look for the hidden waterfall in Wadi Shab. In the afternoon, your guide will take you to Sur, a city overflowing with rustic charm. In the city, you will go to the boatyards, where artisans use traditional techniques to build Dhow boats. In the evening, you will be brought to Ras Al Jinz to visit the majestic green sea turtles.

Day3: Dive into the Desert
No trip to Oman would be complete without an excursion into waves of red and white sand that are the Wahiba Sands. Before heading into the desert to watch the sunset, your guide will take you to Wadi Bani Khalid for a session of swimming and relaxation. The desert adventure is completed with a night under the desert sky.

Day4: Journey to the Interior
This day is dedicated to Oman’s rich cultural heritage. Begin the day by visiting Nizwa Fort and its formidable circular keep. After visiting the fort and the nearby traditional market, your guide will take you to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Bahla Fort. Finish off the day with a visit to Jabreen Castle to appreciate the finer side of Omani architecture.

Day5: The Garden in the Sky
Spend a day in the cool air of the mountains. On the way to Jebel Ahkdar, your guide will take you to the village of Birkat Al Mawz with its ingenious irrigation system. Afterwards, you will be taken up through Wadi Muyadin to the Sayq Plateau where the local people produce all manner of exotic fruits and vegetables on terraced farms.

Day6: The Roof of Oman
Nizwa- Al Hamra – Jebal Shams- Misfat Al Abriyeen
On this day, you will explore Oman’s tallest mountain, Jebel Shams, with a height of 3028 meters above sea level. You will start by going to the Old Town of Al Hamra and visiting the folk museum of Bait A’Safa. Later, your guide will take you to the mountain Oasis village of Misfat Al Abriyeen, with its functioning traditional irrigation system that has gained the world’s recognition. Next, you will go up to the Jebel Shams to see the Grand Canyon. Overnight stay at hotel in Jebel Shams.

Day7- The Mountain Road
Back to Muscat via Wadi Bani Auf (off-road)
Drive through the colossal Hajar Mountains through the pass in Wadi Bani Auf, providing you with a thrilling off-road adventure. In the canyon, you will see the hidden village of Balad Sayt, nestled within the safety of the gorges. Once through the mountain pass, you will visit the town of Nakhal before heading back to Muscat for an overnight.

Day8: Leaving Oman

A driver will come to your hotel in Muscat to bring you to Muscat International Airport for your departing flight. Before you go, don’t forget to have a last snack on some tasty Omani dates!.

Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque
Modest clothing must be worn when visiting the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque. Men must wear long-sleeved shirts and trousers. Ladies must be fully covered (including head, arms, shoulders, knees, and ankles). Abayas can be rented in the reception area at the entrance of the mosque. The Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque is closed to visitors on Fridays. If your Half Day Tour begins on a Friday, arrangements will be made to see the mosque the following day in the morning.
Wadi Shab & Wadi Bani Khalid
Conservative swimwear is needed in Wadi Bani Khalid or Wadi Shab, covering the shoulders and knees. A good idea is to wear your swimming costume under an old t-shirt and a pair of long shorts. There are bathrooms near the coffee shop in the Wadi where you can change clothes. The Wadi Shab waterfall can only be accessed by swimming through deep water in a cave. It is not recommended for people who suffer from claustrophobia or have weak swimming abilities.
